ENHD Hosting the IC-ENC International validation Training Course 2019
As we believe that raising the capacity of our personnel is the key factor to sustain a long-term future. the ENHD had hosted the ICENC International validation Training Course last year in its brand new fully digital office. The IC-ENC International ENC Validation training course provides the knowledge, skills and understanding required to enable ENC Production teams to perform validation in their home offices to a high standard.
The training course is made up of 10 modules, involving a variety of both theory and practical based learning exercises. Pre-learning is used to provide context before the course, and the modules are then delivered over an 8 day period.
The course aims to:
Provide the trainees with an understanding of ENC validation and ECDIS
Provide the trainees with the knowledge and skills required to carry out ENC validation at their ENC production offices
Demonstrate the practical use of ECDIS for ENC Quality Assurance assessment
Introduce the trainees to the roles and responsibilities of IC-ENC
This course has proven to be an excellent method for exchanging knowledge, ideas and experience between different producing nations. As a result, we have great working relationships established during these two weeks period.
